Andrew Smith
Managing Director
British Lithium discovered a world-class lithium deposit in the UK and Andrew ran hands-on, the exploration and evaluation work, developing innovative (now patented) technology for the commercial beneficiation of lithium mica, which had never been previously achieved. In 2023 Andrew ran a due diligence process which resulted in a multinational partner, IMERYS, acquiring an 80% interest in the project. IMERYS is a world leading supplier of speciality minerals for industry and has committed to complete the feasibility and build the full-scale project incorporating Andrew’s technical innovations.
A Bachelor of Engineering & Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours from Sydney University underpins Andrew’s formal education. He has also studied at the National Institute of Space in Virginia.
Stanley Allan Macdonald
Non-Executive Director
Stan Macdonald is a veteran of the mining and exploration industry, with a career spanning several decades. He has been instrumental in the formation of numerous ASX-listed companies, including Giralia Resources NL, where he served as Director for over 23 years and played a leading role in a number of major discoveries.
Since the foundation of Zenith Minerals in 2007, Stan has been a member of the Board, providing deep industry knowledge and strategic oversight. In addition, he currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Piche Resources.”
Euan Jenkins
Non-Executive Director
Euan joined Zenith Minerals on 16 December 2024 as a Non-Executive Director, bringing over 31 years of global banking experience to the company.
Having concluded his career at JP Morgan in London following significant roles at ABN Amro and McIntosh Securities, Euan has been instrumental in numerous capital raisings and seed investments across industries including gold, base metals, battery metals, and biotech. Currently, he serves as a Non-Executive Director of Bradda Head Lithium, listed on the London and Canadian stock exchanges.
Euan’s experience spans financial hubs such as Melbourne, Sydney, New York, London and Switzerland, with a strong understanding of financial systems and jurisdictions. His connections with European shareholder bases will provide Zenith access to broader markets and his financial expertise and global perspective will be invaluable as we continue to advance the company’s strategic objectives and deliver shareholder value.
Senior Management
James Major
Exploration Manager
James Major is an exploration geologist with over eight years’ experience across gold and base-metal systems, from greenfields discovery through to resource definition. He previously held senior roles with Sandfire Resources in Western Australia and Botswana, where he contributed to the A1 copper–silver discovery and delivery of a maiden Mineral Resource. James brings strong capability in exploration targeting, 3D geological modelling and the execution of drilling programs to support Zenith’s ongoing growth strategy.
Nicholas Ong
Company Secretary
Nicholas brings 18 years’ experience in listing rules compliance and corporate governance. He is experienced in mining project finance, mining and milling contract negotiations, mine CAPEX & OPEX management, and toll treatment reconciliation. Nicholas is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and Fellow of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia. He has since worked as a company secretary and director to listed companies.
